Default knock monitor

is their any other methods of keeping an eye on the knock other than Knock-link and Apexi...????
The reason is I don't really like the look of the Knock-link and the Apexi cost's alot.

HKS do a knock monitor and AFR combined. Looks pretty much the same as the latest EVC boost controller. Not cheap tho! Both would fit nicely into a DIN space

It doesn't monitor knock tho.... it will display if the ecu is retarding timing, not the same thing.
