I have heard Induction kits can cause problems with the maf sensor causing it to fail.
I'm sure theres loads of people out there running induction kits without any issues whatsoever.
I've just had to have mine replaced on my my96 sti and it cost me a fortune. But I'm not running an induction kit and it's a standard engine except a dump valve. Just wear and tear I think.
Cheers,
Rich
