Got a MY94 WRX and heard somone say recently that they get a 'Kick' when the turbo kicks in at 3K ish..

Mine dosn't Just seems to flow through the revs rather than belt off.Thinking maybe boost is being lost somwere? Getting a gauge soon but were can i check to make sure everything is nice and tight with no holes?
