Default 2.5 litre rebore

I am wondering if it is possible to rebore a standard 94 impreza wrx 2.0L to a 2.5L size?

Anyone ever heard of or seen this done before>?

I'm afraid this isn't possible, the liners are too thin.

Marks right m8 - you can't do it on an EJ20 engine.

500cc extra from a standard lump smaller than 3000cc would be practically impossible on most engines.
Cheaper and safer to by the EJ25 lump.
