Talking MY WRX94 few thimgs id like sorted

hopefully some of you guys will be able to help me out, as majority of you know what ya talkin about by the sounds of things! ive been reading up on coilovers im getting a annoying knocking noise from mine on the rear, its fitted with cusco's is there any mods that can be done to stop it or is it something that ive got to put up with? i will if i have to cos i dont want to sacrifice the handling.........anoying resonating sound from the front, it sounds like a heat shield, is their a common one that this could be? id like to know what grade of oil to use ive been told 10/60 or 10/50, but is their a certain make thats the daddy..... xtremescoobies at boreham near chelmsford anyone had dealings with them, are they a good bunch?

Oil - 10/40 seems most often recommended, use a good fully synthetic like Motul 300v, maybe mobil 1, silkolene, millers etc. If it has polyesters in the oil it is a better oil.

Front heatshields around the headers do rattle / vibrate as the bolt mountings get rusty, shake 'em by hand and identify the culprit. Fix it by cutting/removing bolt and using a steel tie wrap!

No idea on the Cusco coil overs, but check they are not hitting bodywork underneath.
More likely a worn bush, look at the anti roll bar and drop link bushes, bet it's one of those that has gone !

cheers vulnax999 you were right about the droplinks, have invested in some powerflex links, booked in at extreme scoobies for other bit..........cheers chap

Xtreme Scoobies will sort you out, good lot there although only used 'em for parts dueto their distance from me!
