Default Airbag Roll Sensor?

Hi

Have been told that my car needs a new airbag roll sensor as my airbag warning light has been coming on.

Anyone have any idea what this is and where it is located? Dealer quoted me £200 to change the part, is that a sensible price??

What car do you have?
I think I've got one for a newage UK STi in the attic if it fits?

Hi,

My car is MY98 UK turbo. I don't really understand what the part is, what is does or where it is located, if you can help would be appreciated

I don't think mine is going to fit then.
Best bet is to try a breakers yard like grade a subaru. Something like this will be IRO £50?
The roll connector (sensor?) is the loom section from under the steering column to the steering wheel. It has a rotating wheel to allow continuity of the horn and airbag wires into the steering wheel.
