Default Do You modify Bugeyes the same as classic?

Would appricate any advice on modifing bugeye, which compared with my old 5 door: dosnt handle (are the springs the same?)
Dosnt go! Whats the most cost effective bhp hike?

Ninnybobs has a lot of experiance of what works and doesn't.Myself and midlife used ninnybobs car as a test bed and built ours around the mods that he did to his I must add that all these cars are daily driven and upto now there hasen't been any reliability problems.

..and it is just my opinion - that a bugeye with colour coded morettes looks the best of all.

Oh, and the view down the bonnet from inside looks kinda retro - somewhat reminiscent of a TR6 somehow.

My advice as a bugeye owner is to start with getting the suspension sorted, sway bars, springs, coilovers etc. There are some good threads in the suspension section. After you have a car that can go around corners faster then you can make it faster with whatever engine and exhaust mods you think are worthwhile.
