If you had just started the car and gone for fuel you might find its condensation in the exhaust blowing out.

Cheers gussy for the reply but had done about 2 miles of steady driving got back left it ticking over about 1 minute then loads a white smoke but cleared straight away ??

My first thoughts are over fuelling and maybe a faulty fse regulator ?
Will check the fuel pressure today and see if its changed.

If you are over fueling you will be able to smell it out of the back of the exhaust

White Smoke could also be a sign of a turbo on the way to heaven

White smoke is water, either condensation from startup (nothing to worry about), possibly head gasket - check for coolant loss, mayo on the oil cap

Grey smoke is burnt oil, usually turbo seal on the exhaust side

Blue smoke is combusted oil.

It is highly unlikely the FSE reg is doing this.

Your car has just chosen a new Pope!
White smoke is often a sign of turbo seal failure!
