Classic air-con... inside or out..?
Not a problem this, just curious.
My other car's an MR2 Turbo with factory fitted air-con and climate control. To use the air-con correctly I was advised to switch the air control to 'recirculate', thereby only having to process already cooled air. Switching to outside air, the air-con doesn't get quite so cold.
My Classic Scoob (UK, with optionally fitted air-con) states I should take the air from outside instead... and in doing so it's definately colder if I wind the temperature dial right down. Recirculating the cabin's air just isn't as good.
Just not quite sure how this is happening -- perhaps the Scoob's recirc mode doesn't take air from inside the cabin, but surely it must do..? Or maybe it's just down to the air-con system which has been fitted retrospectively. Hmmm...
Jonts.
