Soft brake after removing I/C & cluctch bleed
Hi - just wanted to check this incase I've done something odd.
Just finished bleeding my clutch and removed the intercooler during the process to get better access to the bleed nipple.
I've replaced everything and tightened it up. When I came to move off I noticed the brake pedal was soft, just for the first application. Firmed up on the second press and was fine when I went for a gentle spin round the block, and after turning off and restarting.
Does removing the I/C break some kind of vacuum seal, or does the hydraulic clutch have some arcane link to the brake system?
I didn't touch anything apart from the I/C and the bleed nipple. Is this normal, or have I dislodged something accidentally?
Mike
