Default solenoid cleaning-where the hell are the green wires...

...took the solenoid off tonight and then couldn't find the wires although even half cleaned it seems to have improved it

i have a MY00 with a SECS unit so i can reset the ecu from there...bloody annoying that i've got to do it all over again tho

They're on the driver's side of the car under the dash.
On my car, they were taped right out of the way, up near the steering column. Took some rooting around to find

cheers fiestboy, any clues to what they look like; dark green, light green, big fat wires or small skinny wires and connector types?

Can't remember the wire colours, but there's 2 single wire black connectors, and 2 single wire green connectors.

Can't miss them

i had trouble finding mine when i cleaned my solonoid long time ago


to the extend that i thought hell they aint on my scoob

notice they might be taped up into other wires comming at the stearing column hence i eventually found mine

skinny wires and skinny plugs is what they look like (green) a pair of black ones exsists to which look the same
