Wink Boost the STI with MAP

have anybody here try boosting the 2005 STI with the MAP sensor at the ECU B135 pin 8 wire cut connect to a piggyback???????
can it be tune up???????
the easiler way to boost up is using the mechanical way cut the pipe going to the tee joint of the waste gate with a bleed valve, but i would like to try on that piece of wire.

Check for detonation if increasing the boost.

I've played a lot with the MAP and MAF signal wires on a MY00 Turbo.

I think you'll benefit most from altering the MAP signal so that the ECU runs a new boost level closed loop, ideally you wouldn't alter the signal around atmospheric pressure though.

Beware that STis, even UK ones, have far less tolerance to increasing the boost without adjusting the ignition timing compared to a relatively detuned non-STi.

presently now i'm using a OBIT piggyback. when the crank sensor wire is cut for the adjustment, i relatively needs about 1-2 mins before i can start the car. so when i connect that back the car starts perfectly. what could be the causes???????
as now i'm only using the MAF to tune the fuel, i thought it will be better for me to tune the boost at the MAP as now the car seems to be doing less mileage. FULL TANK MAX I GET 280KM!!!!!
also my car stay at 1 bar after a 1.4bar, normal??? so if i tune thru MAP will it be 1.8 holding there????

It sounds like the crank sensor signal is not being passed unaltered as it starts?

MAF will of course also change the timing.

If the MAP sensor signal is not altered it will pull it back down to target boost.

I think 1.8 bar is too much on the stock turbo, certainly holding it at high revs is.
