Fitted the Lambdalink a week after upgrading from the Dawes AFR
Readings were as expected for the given situation, i.e Knightrider effect while cruising and solid light when load applied to the engine
I changed the backbox, to a lovely titanium item, and now the readings on the Lambda link have went Pete Tong
Closed loop is still showing up fine but when any load is applied the readings just disappear. The reading will reappear when the cruise mode returns
I fitted a new universal lambda at the same time as the Lambdalink
The old backbox had a 2.5 inch exit and the new one is 3 inch all the way. would this affect the Lambda signal
Car is a 95 WRX with the sensor in the headers, is the sensor getting too hot and shutting down?, if so why has changing the backbox affected the lambda readings?
With the previous backbox the lambda readings were spot on with its readings in both closed and open loop fuelling.
The new backbox was welded on to match the downpipe to the centre pipe.
Can welding an exhaust in situ damage a Lambda sensor?
Any thoughts are appreciatted before i go out and buy another Lambda sensor

That's odd - I've had almost the same problem.
Fitted new lambda and AFR gauge at same time. It was reading out fine for a 2-3 weeks then I get pretty much the same thing - a bit of led action when I start the car, but as soon as I drive it all the lights go out!
I hadn't changed anything else or done anything like welding on the car - I just noticed one day that it wasn't lit up as it should have been. Does this mean the lambda sensor I got a few weeks back has buggered up already somehow?!

Suppose I can probably find out by sticking the old one back in and seeing what it does.....
