Question Octane booster in hot weather...

With charge temperatures sitting at 39 degrees in today's weather (7 above the car's outside temperature reading) I was wondering if using octane booster with 99 RON petrol will reduce knocking, and bring power levels back to what they should be?

...or would the WRX03 PPP map still reduce boost when the intake temperatures are too high?

In other words, how useful is octane booster in hot weather?
Thanks.

The OB will reduce the chance of getting det in hot weather, though the PPP ecu will reduce power to compensate for the temps, but by adding ob you wont gain power, just add safety.
