Default Rear Diff???

This will sound a really stupid question to all you mechanically minded, but have read a few things about Rear Diffs and oil. I have a 1994 WRX and have never changed my oil in rear diff. I wouldnt know where to look for a start, know nothing about them, so can anyone shed some light and why its important to change oil etc

Thanks

Diff has a hard time so clean oil will save you having to replace it. Simple job, after a run undo the lower plug and allow the oil to drain out. Replace the plug and refill through the upper plug until you see oil coming out of the filler / level hole. Simple as that 15mins at the most. Make sure you put the correct oil in, it is the same as the gearbox oil. If you lived closer I would do it for you £50 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A bargain.
