Know when I looked at this modification (UK97) I needed the Clutch Master Cylinder which was another £50.00 or so second hand. Thought it was too much hassle in the end and ended up buying an sti8 to compliment the intercooler!!!

My mapper thought it was a pretty wasted modification in terms of pounds for bhp unless I was going for silly power. Without a remortgage I think I'd gone as far as I could on the standard internlas of the car. He thought an APS top mount was the way to go rather than the STI8 but never took the plunge due to the constant ball ache of having remaps etc all the time.
Hope you have a bit more success (and a not so nagging wife/ girlfriend

Ok guys please do not frighten me =) If it needs a clutch master cyclinder I'll buy it because it is also out of order(clutch pedal sticks sometimes.). I was gonna ordering the APS Dual Entry I/C but soon I read that STI 8 intercooler is the one of the best TMIC around. I dont want to go with FMICs because I hate laggy cars and bhps that comes too late. So I haven't got too many choices on that.

I and several others have gone the V8 TMIC route.
I like the DIY challenge, I'm a qualified engineer and I'm old enough to know the challenge such things bring.
As a LHD car the servo is on the 'fuel' side of the TMIC.
The clutch master reservoir can be reduced in height to clear the TMIC etc.
BUT, it is a fair bit of frigging about, but I enjoy that (most of the time!)
To buy a custom TMIC that is a clean bolt-on of course is the best way to go, a good FMIC (ie Harvey's offering) is better, but that lagg does become a pain in fast road running (
).
If you want a simple life with good effect go the APS/other make route, but keep it TMIC for simplicity, especially if the power mods are light.
I finished up with 407 bhp with mine...
Graham.
