KNOCKING
I have got a strange knocking noise from the front of the car. It does'nt happen when i go over speed bumps or rough ground, just when i am driving slowly . It sounds like a ball joint, but i don't think it is because of the symptoms. I started to notice it after a while when i changed the front discs and pads. The pads are mintex fast road and seemed very slightly smaller than the standard subaru ones. Also there is a slight bit of play in them in the calipers. The noise seems worse on the nearside. The car flew through its mot last week even with the knocking noise. Could it be the pads floating around, as the car has not lost any of its composure at all. It is a 2001 JDM STI WAGON, with the subaru 4 pots not Brembos.
