Morning all.
I've been pondering on this one for a while and given the weather this weekend I think my Classic's a/c system needs attention. The temperature inside the cabin of my MY00 UK Classic doesn't get c-c-cold like it does in my wife's MY 01 WRX or my MR2 Turbo.
At just over 4.5 years old now, I expect it may need recharging and perhaps a leak check. Sound about right..? Or do these a/c systems last 10 years or so..? I'm the 2nd owner and there's no paperwork history to support the a/c system having been serviced.
Whilst I don't like to drive around frozen solid, I can't get the temperature low enough to be happy that it's 'cold' -- it does get 'cool' but struggles if I'm in direct sunlight and/or outside temps are roasting.
Jonts.
