Before i got the end of your post the first thing that come to mind was the possablity of paint removal. It wasn't so long ago i read a similar thread where the chap had removed the wind deflectors and was then left with a respray bill. Your call mate.

I have to say on my wagon i think they look the part especially with the darker tinted windows at the back.
Are they of any use?
Would the wind noise be quiter without them?

Don't know never been without mine.

I think the tried and tested method is to cut through the adhesive that holds them on with some strong nylon thread, then remove the excess gum with WD40. Clean and polish after

Cool

Is there anywhere you can get hold of these wind deflectors, and a mate of mine has a M-reg WRX, and 1 was damaged, so the pair where taken off, and found out one rear quater has been painted with them on, so it's eva replace or alittle paint job???

You can get them from Subaru for about £70-£80 for the pair. I got a set on eBay by chance a while ago and only paid £28 delivered to my door!

hi mate, i removed a damaged one off the offside and if your carefull, a bit of white spirit on a rag is perfect and then wash down with plenty of water.
still looking to replace my broken one if anybody wants to offload one. cheers

I saw a set go on ebay for £120!

I'm leaving mine on - I quite like them. Cars without them look a little bare to me now.

Although getting polish out of the underside is PITA.

I've took my cracked ones off, and have been struggling to remove the strips. I've tries WD40 and all sorts, but you need to get the rubber off firt to get to the glue. Haven't figured that one out yet. Is it best to tackle it dry or wet?
