In the next week or so I will be installing a middle decat pipe (prodrive) and replacing the remaining centre section and backbox with a Ninja system. Now, for insurance purposes I'm guessing they'll ask the rough power increase and I haven't got a clue.

Bascially without a remap am I right in saying it'll be minimal power increase??

If its any help I got a Scooby Sport decat (middle decat and replacement centre section) and Scooby sport back box and was told there would be around a 8-10% increase in power. Roughly 20BHP max. I told the insurance company this and they wacked on another £63 for the year on my premium which isnt too bad i guess! Only an extra tenner to go upto 20% extra power!

Might get rid of the cat on the downpipe as well....

Scoobysport system (full system full decat) books at around 40bhp increase - not 100% sure if thats true but they are made by janspeed who are very reputable...

 

Oh and this is on a MY51 bug eye...
