Default Help i think it might be fooked

Any thoughts to why please
Last couple of days shes been idling a bit lumpy and when the clutch has been dipped and the revs drop below 1k it somestimes dies(3 times on the way to work/noen on way back).
Today just before i got home i gave it a frap and the rev limiter came in at 4.5 and check engine light came on, and has stayed on.
Got home and thank god still in warranty period.

cheers
chris

I've got an MY99 that went a bit like that - but with no engine management light. Turned out it was the Lambda sensor...

Do the read fault codes procedure mate rather than just re-setting the ECU, then troubleshoot the codes from the lowest code number first.

Yeah the MAF is the sensor in the housing on the Airbox, if its to blame it should show up on the diagnostic test, deffo sounds like what mine did till i replaced the MAF though.... very strange

done the dianostic properly now does help if you only connect the black connectors DOH!

Reads 33 = Vehicle speed sensor
If that the sensor connected to the gear box near the exhaust?
