My pulleys are squeaking like mad, paricularly the large one underneath the alternator. Just wondering which pulley kit is suitable for a jap MY 97 with aircon.

Have a word with Mike Tuckwood at Scooby Mania in Nottingham. They have a web site. From memory around £160.

 

Before you go spending loads of money on shiney alloy pulleys, try fitting new belts...

IMO, it's likely that the belts are knackered and / or need adjusting.

 

yeh try the belts first ...... but you do get new ones with the nice shiney new ally pulleys

i got the GFB in red pulleys and i got aircon. must say look nice but cant tell personally if they have made a difference though!!!

The belts do look in good condition although I have noticed there is sometimes a short squealing on start up.
How do you ajdust the tension, bear in mind I'm not really thet mechanically minded.

r u sure its not the altornator as mine squeeks from time to time and i just put a bit of wd40 on then it goes for a few months
bin like that for about 2 years now
