Am I right in saying you should keep oil no more than half full due to problems with boost solenoid e.t.c.....ANYONE?????? dont forget to fill the oil filter first.

I wouldnt say only half full mate....But do not over fill the oil level as it can contaminate the boost solenoid and pipework, theres 3 marks on the dipstick lower level - full level and a notch higher up which is full when hot and yes fill up the oil filter first before you fit it,Thers a lot of threads on here about doing an oil change, some people disconnect the crankshaft sensor and turn over the engine to get the oil light out first ? some dont ?
Do some reading but dont be put off by what you read....
