Default ppp from these pics?

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a gc8 uk spec and have been told that it has a ppp. there is no certificate as the owner says they've lost it. i called up prodrive and gave the chassis number etc and was informed that it did go to prodrive to get the kit fitted etc. All this is sounding sweet, but how do i know the kit still is on it?

I have been doing some research and know that it would have a prodrive backbox, blue intercooler pipes and prodrive ecu.

I have seen the prodrive backbox and I asked for the following 2 pics to be taken and got the following:

the following one is shyte but can anyone confirm that this is correct for ppp? is it even an ecu?

I told the guy to look at under the passenger footwell.......

any help appreciated!!!

Don't know what the heck the 2nd pic is. air-con maybe??

PPP consisted of (for MY99/00 cars anyway) :-

ECU
De-catted centre section (std STI 5/6 item)
Prodrive badged Backbox
Blue Intercooler Hose (looks like the one in the pic) - IIRC it has Prodrive on it

ECU should look like this though:-

Oh, and the car would run more boost so you could check that too.

Looks like the blower motor!
Lift the carpet in the passenger footwell and youll see a metal cover with 3 or 4 10mill fixings remove this and youll see the ecu .. Should have a pink sticker with sti on it...

Yes I spoke to someone at prodrive and with the chassis number they confirmed the garage (this garage has done all the servicing for the car and there are reciepts and dealer stampings through out its history, in fact it was the dealer that sold the car) I have no doubts that this was initially fitted. My concern is that this still remains.
saying that the car has a very comprehensive history with no expenses spared. the prodrive backbox is there, the cooler pipe is there too.....

With regards to the ecu, is it a remap or brand new unit they replace?
do they give the oem one back to you as well?

Thanks for the reponses!
