Hi folks, I very seriously want to go from my second Imp to a Legacy B4 RSK but have a slight problem. Although there is a lot of space inside the car, this seems to be for everyone bar the driver. I am 6'7" and to say it's cramped is putting it mildly. Due to the airbag and gear controls on the steering wheel, changing that isn't an option.

There isn't enough room between the wheel and my legs to freely turn the wheel without my hands catching. This is with the seat fully back and heavily reclined, to the point where my head is pretty well in the back window...... Basically my only chance is to get custom seat rails made up so I can put the seat further back, but where on earth would I get this done? Not exactly the most common of modifications .

It seems so bad that I think I may have to bin the though of a Legacy altogether and stick with STI's .
