WHY does it only have 220bhp and not 260-280 like the other models of its year.

custom install 2kw kenwood suround sound = cant see out of the rear mirror.
what else can i do.
which ecu . and whats the diference .n why?
any ideas .
what about .. td05 and a std ecu out 4dr wrx .does any one know
and where can i go near to penzance cornwall for re-map etc.

I've got a MY94 wagon WRX Import and I found the same problem.
These cars have a smaller turbo TD 04 I've done similar mods to you, ie Magnex oval, straight through centre decat Foam panel filter, I've also just replaced the ECU with a Scoobyecu supplied by Scott Taylor on Ebay, boost is now just under a bar pressure with more mid range grunt, so it may be getting to 260 ish now, brakes to be done next they are still crap.

I have the 95 wagon too with these mods:

td05
z4 ecu from saloon
full scoobysport decat
exceedy organic clutch
lightened flywheel

Produced 260.9bhp at scooby clinic on stock boost.

The td05 feels much better and pulls all the way to 6500 rpm.
expect to pay 200 ish for turbo
and 150 ish for ecu.

Plenty of people on here have upgraded to the td05 and are more than pleased with the improvements.
