I've got a SECS in my Bugeye with two defi's in the A-pillar
SECS can read fault codes and re-set the ECU which is the big bonus but it needs the extra sensors to read oil temp and pressure !
Midlife.....

i've had one for a year and a half.
wouldnt drive my sled without it.
i installed the oil temp sender as they recommended in the gallery plug below the intercooler and I T'd the oil pressure sender into the factory oil warning light in front gallery plug.
you know all this , but for any other guys wondering - it reads out in real time every sensor from the engine control unit.
for my vehicle, its boost , volts , coolant temp, maf air temp, air/ fuel ,fuel injector
pulse rate, knock correction , ignition degrees BTDC , and many others.
i refer to them all regularily.
you can set it up to deliver NOS if you're so inclined or intercooler water spray at
whatever boost pressure you like.
you can't make any changes to anything, its totally passive . but you can set alarms on any input .
install is cake.
the two downsides are its lots of dough ,
and the the display the VFD , their brightest , can totally wash out in bright sunshine.
that's a big problem here in Denver, its always sunny in the rockies .
i mounted mine in the console where the radio delete plate was. i can pullout the drink holder and a credit card slot above the SECS and that shields the display from sunshine pretty well.
at night its gorgeous.
a couple of other guys here have had the SECS installed in the dash pod but it was really useless during the day.
if you own a performance car you need to monitor all of this info whether it be gauges or this SECS unit .
