Default cleaning oil in the exhaust while refitting turbo!

Hi guys

Just wondering how to go about cleaning the exhaust (inc. cat) up pipe and down pipe as it is caked in oil from the old turbo before i fit the new one?

Cheers chris

Don't try to clean the lambda, you'll destroy it...the sensor sits hidden beneath the outer shell anyway.

For the exhaust, you'd need to take it apart and clean it out with a degreaser (or just simple petrol) - but don't do that if the parts have catalysts and silencers on them...

Me, I'd run it as per stickys advice.
