Unhappy Cold Air Induction Kit WITHOUT a remap? HELP!

Is anyone running a cold air induction kit such as the aps or aem kits without a re-map?

I have got a C.A.I but am unsure wether to fit it or stick it on E-bay as I wont be getting a remap for a while.

Has anyone ever had any engine problems realted to an induction kit?

Not advisable to use an APS CAK without a remap.

Harvey blew an engine as a result of fitting one without a remap.

Probably £60 + P&P as the filter could do with a clean.

You really should look at getting the MAF rescaled, as the CAI will mess with the readings, and make the car run lean - how lean will vary, but certainly could lead to an expensive bill!
