Default Decat sensor connection help

Hi all

I have run into a problem while fitting my new decat downpipe today. The problem is that the new pipe has a large hole for a sensor about 3 inches from the turbo, and the sensor has 3 wires, whereas the original downpipe has a smaller hole and is at the bottom of the the downpipe with a long wire.Im thinking that i need to either find a adaptor for the large hole on the new downpipe,or drill the decat pipe and have a boss welded in original position.any help appreciated as i need to get car back on the road! Heres two pictures showing the new sensor that came with decat pipe on left and the old one on right.

regards mark

The sensor on the left is the lamba sensor, the other sensor on the right is the egt sensor. (cat on fire)
You dont have to use the egt sensor now that you have decatted it, so find a suitable size bolt & use that to block the thread hole for the egt sensor.

Lamba sensor:
If your car is the earlier type then you will find the original lamba sensor in the exhaust headers. You can either leave it there & use another bolt to block the thread hole in the dp by the back of the turbo, or just use the sensor supplied with it to bung it.

Thanks for your help, thats a result! i wasnt to sure on which sensor was what, but my lambda sensor is indeed in my headers as i put a new up pipe on earlier and removed the sensor to protect it. What i will do now then is plug the header hole, and put the lambda in the downpipe.
