Default Does the Power FC cycle the Boost solenoid with the green connectors connected?

Thought it was about time I cleaned my boost solenoid again, so I connected the two green plugs together and tried the ignition but nothing happened. Should the solenoid cycle(tick) when using a Power Fc ecu or is this just a feature of the stock ECU?

No thats purely an OEM ecu controlled thing, aftermarket ecu's do not do it.

You possibly could get it cycling by pumping up the map sensor with a Mityvac with ign on and engine not running.
