Exclamation MY00 PPP @ 6000rpm

According to Prodrives website the peak power for classic ppp's is at 6000rpm. Ive just been out for a spirited drive in my car (hehe) and at 5000rpm my boost gauge measures 16psi/1.1bar, the cars peak boost and at 6000rpm the boost drops right off. Also the mechanic at the subaru garage says anything over 5k is a waste. So it would seem Prodrive figures dont add up.

Purely out of interest, can anyone else confirm their figures?

i have ppp on myoo

not sure what rpm peaks at, but i hit 1.1 boost, your car should keep at this boost on 5th gear until you take your foot off the pedal,
it will hit about 1 bar in 2-4th, will drop off slowly in these gears,
i thought this was normal?

i remeber some mechanic at a subaru dealership coming up with **** n bull stories, i learn to ignore them.

Been looking into power graphs myself. 5,500 peak, still should pull but falling out of the band. Depends on map & tubbie right enough but fair to say.. having said that mine still puts out to 6,500k + but the graph would suggest otherwise lol
