Knocklinks are £150 shown HERE
The standard level of boost is 11.47psig and the fuel cut is 14.87psig on a MY94UK model so to run anything over 14.87psig(1.02bar) you will have to either fit a Fuel Cut Defencer (FCD) to raise the boost cut or source a scoobyecu which are pretty rare nowadays. It should also be noted that the standard map sensor on the early classics 'top out/saturate' at 17.2psig![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

once again thanks for the reply its helping me no-end,so my car can run the 1.1 bar of boost with reasonable safety as for the knocklink they sound reasonably priced and better safe than sorry.the reason for my questions is that in a magazine with retro cars in it,it says that the standard impreza could run the 1.2bar without much work, before doing this im checking with people in the know as i love my car and would hate for it to blow up on me!!
