front mount before remap?

Hi all
I just need advice , can i put a front mountintercooler on my 98 uk turbo before i get rd to remaping the car ?.at the mo i have a aps in wing induction kit , exhaust with tsl group n back back and dawes device, forge dump valve.
I am researching a differnt turbo aswell .

front mount will cause a bit more lag as there is a lot more air to get moving when you put your foot down. you should get lower intake temps and be able to run more boost safely so it is a good idea to get it done then mapped, not vice versa. in fact, it's a good idea to get everything you're planning done before a remap.

Watch out though, you have that APS cold air kit in the wing, this could cause you to run a bit lean already.

I would personally ditch the dawes and just connect the compressor nipple to the actuator direct and run it around 0.5 bar in the mean time.
