Red face Removing aftermarket ECU & Returning to stock

I am considering removing the currently installed Link ECU in my car and moving to Apexi. The car has minmal mods so should run ok with stock ECU allbiet with octane booster until I get Apexi fitted..

Questions...

1. I have the original ECU - is it simply a case of swaping over and plugging the old ECU into the loom?

2. The car currently has a knocklink & lambda link will these be affected in any way or car I continue using these without the link?

3. How much value does the Link ECU have & anyone fancy a swap?!

4. Sticking in the for sale section if anyone wants to make me an offer.

Cheers

ISTR the LINK foesn't use the MAF. Have you retained your MAF sensor and even if you have, how do you know it's still working?

Ditto what Mr very hot curry said about the MAF sensor...

Link is around £350-400.... if it is a 97/98 then i might know someone that might take it.

Its a MY99... either rip it out or get it mapped but Andy F not too keen on the link. If I can get someone else in Scotland or can fly them up then I may keep it.

Thumbs up APEXI ALSO

Scoobydoo

I'm considering an Apexi as well, with a commander and mapping. It may pay us to team up and get it done together.
I'm in the midlands area if your intrested.

Possibly, if I do go for Apexi it would be with Andy F up here. I think he does a 2 car deal. Keep in touch
