Hi All,
I've got my uk yr 2000 wrx bugeye at a main dealer as we speak. They have just been on the phone saying the oil I supplied (Mobil 1 0w-40) is too thin and will wreck the engine, as it has another one of their customers who had to have an engine change. I've told them to go ahead and put it in, and I will replace it later if need be.
On the other hand most people I know say Mobil 1 is the dog's bo//ocks. They only seem to supply it in 0w-40 or 15w-50 grades. On the back of the bottle it says on both it can be used in turbo, supercharged, performance cars, etc.
I can't believe something as simple as an oil change can cause so many doubts and problems.
Regards,
Graeme.

Not sure why you put this in "Gallery" ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
I think 0W is a bit too thin for Scoobs. 5W is really as low as you should go for general use, and if you do a lot of high speed driving and/or trackwork then 10W is best. 15W is too thick IMHO.
When I used 10W I found the engine was sluggish until up to temp, and it took a little longer to get there. When I switched to 5W it has been just how I like it. I use Silkolene ProS.
