Hello
My horn stopped working a while ago. It was intermittent for ages then stopped all together. Now I've got to fix it for the MOT. When I active the switch on the steering wheel I can hear a relay clicking from somewhere behind the dash so I'm assuming that we are ok up to there. Checking across the horn itself with a multimeter reveals that no power is arriving.
Where is is the fuse located for the horn circuit? Doesn't seem to be in the main fuse box in the engine bay or am I missing something? Any advice on where to go next would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Rob.

Ok, I've got the relay out and it seems to be working fine.
There is a green and white wire that's live and a black a blue wire that I believe feeds the horn as there is a wire the same colours at the horn end can anyone confirm this? (this is my top suspect to be at fault ATM) Does anybody have access to a wiring diagram??? Or have good knowledge of the Impreze wiring circuits??
Thanks...

The fuse in the footwell is fine and the relay switch appears to be working ok too. I suspect the actual wiring from there to the horn, but I need a diagram to tell me where the wires go in between the relay and the horn itself, so I know which to isolate and test.
Keep the suggestions coming though.
Help.... I can't get an MOT until it's fixed.

Hello
For those that were interested, or for future reference, my horn is now fully functional again.
It turned out to be the relay switch even though it *appeared* to be working correctly. I cleaned the little contact points with wet and dry paper and everything is fine again. A fairly delicate job though, so treat it with kid gloves if you do need to take it apart and clean it.
Now hopefully I can get the MOT sorted out next week.
