Howdy, was wondering what the Prodrive exhaust can with the PPP kit sounds like?
Getting it fitted soon, after new car is ran in.
Is there much of a difference inside the car?, or is it just the tone from outside?

Found the standard exhaust much too quiet for my liking, the car is silent inside...

I had a 2003 STI Type UK and the normal exhaust is very quiet (as it is intended to be!). I fitted a 3.5" scorpion and it sounds unreal, expecially in those alleys and on bridges with the back windows down. Lots of people have complimented the sound of my STI - no other mods on her either.

Right, back to your question - I got a run in a new Prodrive Subaru a few months back with the full PPP. To be honest, I thought the sound inside the car to be still a little quiet?? And also thought the sound outside was a little quiet too. Prefer the Scorpion.

I suppose Prodrive have to comply with noise regulations on exhausts so maybe this is all they could get without breaking the law??

Not sure if this helps but sure its only my opinion.

The Prodrive exhaust sound is only slightly louder than normal - usually recommeded for people who dont to sound to 'obtrusive'...........

Got my 05 Wagon back this week, nice burble outside the car, inside quiet apart from heavy accelleration, just right not to get on your nerves on a long journey.

As for power, much increased response midrange, ideal for quick overtaking.
