White smoke - water based
Blue smoke - oil based
If its white, its probably just condensation in the exhaust - if its alot of persistant white smoke, better get it checked out.

I wouldn't worry about it - they are all the same and as long as it goes after she heats up a bit, your fine. Persistant white smoke could mean head gasket failure, but you'd see it like snow flying out the back of her!
Mine is the same. Its just condensation in the exhaust.

Couple of days and smoke
I get the same but only when I leave the car for a day or two and it's been parked on a slope!? Not facing down the hill but horizontally, and it always seems to be the nearside facing down the slope!? Initially I thought it was my new 300v oil getting into a cylinder or two just on that side, but it is a cloud of white smoke on start up then it goes away, so maybe it is just condensation in the exhaust? Phew.
