Exclamation Uprated ECU, De-Cat, What now? Boost control?

Got a 03 WRX with a Prodrive ECU, Ninja de-cat and Prodrive freeflow cat replacing first cat. Also have a K&N panel filter and a Forge dump valve. Going to fit Eibach springs and have a full laser wheel alignment.
Should I go for a Boost controller next? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

id say adding a boost controller to an already mapped prodrive ecu and you have already swayed from their parts is a bad idea and an engine rebuild waiting to happen

Is the prodrive ECU mappable?

My upgrades have been a bit disjointed as all parts have been sourced from e-bay. (Prodrive ECU and exhaust cost £600 fitted, the exhaust has since been re-sold for £300) As you can see i am on a budget. Trying to get the most cost effective increase in power.

the prodrive ecu is locked and cant be remapped, it is designed to give good results from their power package, one you change from this and start upping boost your engine isnt going to like it, best bet is sell the prodrive ecu, get the stuff you want to fit to the car then arrange an ecutek mapping session and i think you will be happier and a lot safer

Prodrive ECU is the same "mappable" as the factory ECU but it's locked so your mapper can't add above Prodrive maps his changes thus it's better to sell it and have a factory ECU remapped.
