Brake system warning light
The brake system warning light (i) came on tonight in my MY01 WRX PPP Wagon.
It was dark when I got home so haven't gave it a look yet, but do you reckon its more likely to be the pad wear indicator or low fluid level?
I assume this light illuminates when the pads get low?

it has two functions....................to warn you of low fluid level mainly, however this is most normally caused when the pads/disc get to a min. wear situation and therefore need checking!!
can also just get "stuck" and if no other faults are found sometimes just releasing the top of the cylinder and making sure the float is free can sort
