I think the Bugeye is still a TD04.
Try the STi VF35 Here's mine collecting dust Soon to be fitted.

he said Bugeye STI, which is either a VF30 or VF34.....which holds boost better than the VF35.

not sure it does mate, the 03 on does....the 02s had a mix, Marklemac on here was selling a VF30 off his 02sti...so that definitly wasnt a VF35! Some of the later ones had the VF34 which is regarded as the weapon of choice by many for between 320 and 340bhp applications

scooby.79 - your aims are the same as mine
I presently run an MY99 with full decat, k&n, and Tek3. I achieved 257 bhp and 252 Ib/ft but did have a suspect clutch at the time so may be a touch short on the real figure (and maybe not!).
As well as the Vf35 waiting to go on, i have fitted an STi 6 intercooler and am just waiting on a Walbro fuel pump, intercooler splitter and tilt kit to arrive. I'm fitting everything apart from the turbo which Scooby Clinic will be doing hopefully along with a tweak to the Tek 3. All this will mean 300+ i hope
The only thing stopping me at the moment is a real soft spot for a Lotus Elise
