Default Loud knocking noise coming from rear of car???

During the past few days I've been getting a fairly loud knocking noise coming from the rear of the car.

It mainly happens when I lift of the revs and turn slightly it's a constant "knock, knock, knock". If I keep my foot on the accelerator or turn sharply, it hardly ever does it.

I've also checked the exhaust, etc to make sure that's secure and it seems ok.

I can't think what it could be. Any suggestions?

Alright mate. I've had knocking coming from the front of mine and found out it was the spring hitting the strut. When i was looking through the forums i noticed alot of people have knocking on the rear of there STis. seems to be a common fault. they've all had dodgy rear struts and get them changed under warrenty.
