Question Worth changing the steering rack?

On MY99/00 to a quicker rack?

What parts would be needed and how much work would it involve

Never done the job Bob, but from what I've seen on my Sti all a bit nut and bolt mecano job, but i remember reading some time ago about difficulties bleeding the hydraulics.

Are you planning to use the Type R quick rack?

Be interested to see how you get on and driving impressions.

Graham.

Cheers Graham. Was just wondering if it was a) an easy job. b) worthwhile.

....then look at the options available.

Hopefully someone who has done the conversion will pop along.

As you say, it seems straightforward enough.
