My 97 import is running s**t under hard boost and gets worse the longer I drive it. If I leave it for a few house things are fine again till I start booting it. Thought it was coilpack but it looks mint. Thought it was boost soloniod but I have tested it and the pipes seems fine. Thought it was MAF so unplugged it and it died yesterday right after a reset. But just unplugged it now and it carries on running. strange or what. So 2 questions really
1. Is the boost soloniod supposed to click open and close and get faster the more revs you give it ?
2. If the car carries on running when unplugging MAF is it definatly that.
A MAF for mine is £200 from Subaru because its fixed in the housing anywhere I can get one cheaper NOT used.
Please help because this is really doing my head in now.

I ran mine into Subaru dealers today as it had been running a bit lumpy off turbo.
They ran a test on their diagnostic machine which showed some flat spots on the waveform ( I am no techy btw!)
Changed and fitted it for £80.00 (MY99 standard UK)
No worries for a while now.
Suppose I'm trying to say take it to Subaru
