Turbo timer - confused....

I have an Apexi turbo timer fitted to my MY00. I also have a SECS fitted which gives coolant temperature reading in Deg C.
By default the turbo timer will run he engine for 20 seconds as a minimum run down time. It monitors O2 via the lambda feed and uses fuzzy logic to scale the idle time. That all works grand, but I noticed today after the timer kept the engine running for 50 seconds, the coolant temp was at 95 according to SECS when the engine shut off. Is using the turbo timer harming my turbo - when I stopped the car, the coolant temp reported was 86 Deg C by having the turbo timer come on it raised this figure by 9 Degrees before shutting down.
Just strikes me as a odd....
Can anyone advise / explain?
Thanks
