What is the symptoms of a faulty Lamda. I broke mine last night when I had the downpipe off. I've fitted another Bosch sensor from a metro of all things and the car seems to run fine. I don't fancy paying Subaru prices for what is a standard component and was wondering if this one would be ok.

how did you wire it up ?
the scooby connector has 3 wires, 2 white 1 black, i got a lambda I need to wire up but it has 2 white 1 grey and 1 black
help ?

thats what I thought but all the shop had was lambdas with 4 wires, so I figured since the oclour code was so close, and a quick search on lambdasensor.com showed the grey to be earth I figured it would be ok - but it isnt.....any one want a 4 wire non scoob compatible lambda sensor ? free to a good home...
