apexi power fc can it solve over boost
would a apexi power fc solve my over boost problem.i'm using a hks evc5 to control it at the moment.can that go once i get the apexi fitted don't really know much about them.Since having a full 3" system hks filter and front mount intercooler i have had a serious issue of over boost with the standard solenoid so i used the hks controller to help this but i'm still running to much boost. would i be able to use the standard one again when the apexi is fitted if not can anyone tell me what i need to buy for my 94 wrx
cheers

if using a apexi fc the best thing to use is ther boost controll kit, it uses its own solenoid and can be mapped to bleed lots of air at first to reduce lag and then bleed no air at all if u want.
so yes you can have a safer set up using it
but one better would be to use the apexi a-vcr i think thats what they call it ( the apexi boost controller with the blue screen) as this has a function witch will allow you to reduce the boost levels in higher gears, the apexi power fc can not do this
so best option is apexi ecu +apexi boost controler
but a cheeper option that will give you a safe set up is the apexi ecu +boost controll kit.

sorry my bad i was thinking of a different boost controller
if its overboosting in all gears then its not set up correctly!!!
if its overboosting in just high gears then u need the apexi avcr as it has gear specific boost control, that will cure your problem.
also have you checked the actuator has good tention and moves smoothly
