Yet another Lambda link thread
Im about to try and fir my Lambda link and i've searched the boards for info and its left me more confused. On my MY 99 ECU, which wires go to which pins?? And in the instructions it says not to join the earths yet on the boards people say this is fine??

well i might as well add to this as well
fitted lamda link and guess what its not working, as i here most people have this proplem and it can take a week to start working,
its been fitted 2 days so 5ish days to go
heres a question we measured the voltage and its puting out about 2 volts
as for the wireing i have it right and separet earths

The oem narrowband lambda sensor signal only has a range between 0-1volt, are you sure you are testing the signal lead of the lambda sensor?

If your Lambda/o2 sensor is putting out 2 volts, then it sounds like it's shagged (quite common for them to do this).
It should be about 0.6V when you turn the ignition on. The voltage will then slowly drop/dis-charge until you start the car.
Then it should oscilate upto around 1V shortly after the engine has fired up (i.e after about 5 mins).
Do an ECU Reset (under dash jobbie) then see if it starts flashing code 32 for the lambda.
