Default fmic+remap???

if i fitted a fmic would my scoobyecu need to be custom mapped and if so who could do it
at the moment i got
full decat
k+n panel filter
scoobyecu 16.5psi map
looking to get fmic and maybe a induction kit if it would be better
what kind of power would this lot give roughly
my94 uk turbo wagon

The fuelling would need to be remapped to account for the greater amount of air being sucked in through the intercooler might cause the air/fuel to run a bit lean more air requires more fuel so the map would definately need to be altered better to be safe than sorry

It may effect the fueling and boost spool/target. But I do know that some have fitted FMIC without problems.

Just fitting an MY98 TMIC can cause 1-2psi increase and issues with boost in the higher gears.

In an ideal world, yes it's worth getting it looked at.

how do you go about getting a scoobyecu custom mapped then
i know later model cars a lappy is plugged into the car but what about these??
can the chips be sent to some1 to do it or what??
or would a power fc be a better alternative??

power fc is by far better and will alow u to run even more boost

also u cant just send your ecu away u will need it mapped to your car
